What is the credit card hold for?
If you choose to receive your gift card immediately, the hold is just a temporary verification to ensure the item is sent and matches the condition selected.
How do I use my store credit?
You’ll receive a digital code by email that can be used with the retailer you submitted your trade with.
What if I disagree with the new price?
You can decline and have your device returned to you for free! If you chose the gift card “now” option, we’ll charge your card for the amount distributed to you in store credit.
What if i chose the store credit now option but would like to cancel my trade entirely?
Please contact us to let us now that you'd like to cancel your order. Once the merchant confirms with us that the store credit was not used, we'll release the credit card hold on our end.
Why can’t I get cash for my trade with a retail partner?
Store credit applies when you trade through our merchant partners and cash payouts happen when you trade directly with us here.
What happens if I request a refund from the merchant for my new purchase using my store credit?
You go through the normal store refund process for your new purchase. SELLIT9 and the merchant coordinate to make sure that you still get the full value of your trade-in back to the store credit.
