At SELLIT9, we strive for transparency and fairness in every transaction. The price you get at checkout is based on the item’s condition and the current market value for pre-owned items. Every item gets inspected by an expert. If they reassess its condition and price, we’ll explain why and offer a new price. If you don’t like the adjusted price, we’ll return your item.

When we receive your device, our team inspects it to confirm that its condition matches the grade selected at checkout. Sometimes, our evaluation may differ from the grade you selected, here’s why:

Why grades might change

Some issues aren’t always obvious until testing. Battery health, activation locks, internal damage, or water exposure may only become apparent during our inspection. We follow a consistent, transparent grading process to make sure you get a fair offer every time.

Here’s what happens next:

Device Downgrade Process

If the item is downgrade, we’ll send you an updated offer and you choose how to proceed. You’ll be emailed with the updated offer and given options:

  • Accept the new offer — we’ll process your payout or gift card right away

  • 🔄 Decline and get your item back — free return shipping included

There are no surprises or pressure. We don’t move forward without your approval and your item stays safe with us until you decide.
